Hadrami Taleb Bouya – elected as president of Mauritania Association of Petroleum Engineers (MAPE).
The Mauritania Association of petroleum Engineers is a not-for-profit professional organization whose mission to collect, disseminate and exchange technical knowledge concerning the exploration, development and production of oil and gas resources and related technologies for the public benfit and to provide opportunities for professionals to enhance their technical and professional competence.
Members of MAPE Association are petroleum engineers, Geologists, geophysicists, geochemists, petro-physicists, petroleum engineering professors and academics, petroleum scientists and researchers, petroleum managers, and petroleum management experts.
We will work closely with Nouakchott university to increase scientific knowledge & research in the fields of petroleum engineering and exploration. As well we will work closely with government agencies and international partners, and international corporations and companies.
The main aim of MAPE to generate discussion about new development in petroleum exploration and petroleum engineering, and to bring new technologies, to attract new investors & new parties in Mauritania, and also to help the main players in the petroleum industry sector locally, to encourage training, investment, local content. And to address the changes in the world energy market, and to provide opportunities for graduates. This would be a good to start inshAllah.
