Dr Alexander A. Kulpecz

Dr. Kulpecz is Chairman/CEO of Alexander Energy Limited, an oil/gas/gas-to-power investor/operator. He has extensive commercial, operational and management experience in the upstream/midstream oil and gas and power sectors and private equity/venture capital investments. His focus is originating business opportunities, building the business case, arranging financing for the project, then mentoring the management team and the investment to maturity. Over a 21-year period, he held a succession of senior executive positions at the Royal Dutch Shell group as an Executive Committee Member, primarily in the exploration and production area and latterly as Executive Director and EVP of Shell International Gas and Power for Eastern/Central Europe, Russia, Africa and Latin America.

Robert Smythe

A Chartered Accountant and Chartered Director, Robert is a seasoned Finance Director with substantial experience of structuring and managing corporate finance facilities at Divisional and Parent Company level in a range of international businesses. A BSc (Hons) Economics graduate from Cardiff University and MBA from the School of Management at the University of Bath, he trained with E Y (Ernst & Young) in London before moving into commercial finance. Until recently, he was CFO of a UK based AIM quoted international oil & gas E&P company and has held similar positionsin AIM quoted renewable energy groups with, amongst other things, responsibility for the preparation and successful launch of pre-IPO and AIM listing processes. Robert is a Fellow of the Institute of Directors and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
